About Us
Collaborative Practice
In 2005 Farrar Gesini & Dunn launched an innovative new process called Collaborative Law that gives separating couples the power to make decisions about their children and property, rather than a Court.
Developed in the US and Canada, Farrar Gesini & Dunn was the first law firm in Australia to introduce the cooperative approach that sees all four parties sign a contract agreeing to settle their case outside Court.
Collaborative law allows people to feel they own the process and the outcomes, and encourages cooperation rather than confrontation.
