Peta is a pragmatic and dedicated lawyer, having practised in the private and public sectors across NSW, Victoria and the ACT. This allows her to relate to her clients and colleagues alike, and provides insight into the different experiences each bring to the table.
Peta firmly believes that everyone benefits from health, end of life and succession planning, whether they are 18 or 80, have modest needs or are planning for the future of a company or family business.
She is also acutely aware that, often, the key driver of success in such planning is a clearly-drafted document which appoints an appropriate person to operate it. As such, expect Peta to spend time discussing with you your nomination for executor or attorney, your intentions for the future of your wealth acquisition or company operation, and to involve other specialist members of our firm where possible to ensure that the service you receive is comprehensive.
When it comes time to manage either a deceased estate or the affairs of someone who has lost legal decision-making ability, Peta has a simple, no-fuss approach. She is accountable and responsive, and strives to work with executors or attorneys to finalise matters in an efficient, sensible manner.
One of Peta’s strengths is her desire to remain at the front of developments in the field. To support this, over the last couple of years Peta has been studying her Master of Laws (Applied Law), majoring in Wills & Estates.
Outside of work and study, Peta loves nothing more than to go camping with her dogs and husband, weather-permitting, and to find a sunny spot in the garden to watch the wildlife, preferably with a glass of bubbles and a good book.
