Estate disputes or contesting a will
Estate disputes or contesting a will is what happens if someone isn’t happy with what a will says, usually because they say they should have a greater share. An estate dispute could be defending a claim or making one. It can mean going to court but it doesn’t have to; often solutions can be found to avoid a big fight and that satisfy everyone or a compromise can be reached.
