Modern Paralegal

Allie joined FGD in 2015 having been a star witness in a case we acted in. At paragraph 187 of that case, Watts J said in respect of Allie, “I did not find her evidence to be in any way unreliable.” We’d extend that sentiment to her work and add that she is thorough, sensitive, intelligent and a great problem solver.

Allie has broad experience in family law, including parenting matters with allegations of risk and mental health issues, and complex property cases involving businesses and trusts. Allie is trained in Collaborative Law and is passionate about using those skills throughout her practice.

She has particular skill in:

  • Story telling – whether that be in helping clients to have their voice heard or navigating and presenting complex documents, information and evidence;
  • Supporting clients through the family law system, including to help them to understand and navigate unfamiliar processes; and
  • Steering families away from conflict and helping them to thrive through separation.

Real Person

Allie’s life is very full of all the wonderful chaos that comes with having small children. She loves art, good design and the joy she derives from her garden. One of her favourite things to do is read cookbooks, get inspired and wish she could cook and live like a mediterranean grandmother (she is very proud of her backyard olive tree).
