Modern Lawyer

Tassi recognises that achieving the best outcome for his clients is rarely a matter of considering the law alone. While the legal position is important, the best outcomes require a careful understanding of the financial, practical and personal issues affecting a family. His role is to understand what matters most to his clients, identify the issues that will genuinely affect the outcome, and develop a strategy that helps them move forward.

Tassi joined the firm in 2019 after working in property development and planning law for three years. He moved into family law because he wanted to work more closely with people and help them navigate significant challenges and life-changing decisions.

He practises across all areas of family law, with particular expertise in complex property settlements, parenting disputes, family violence matters and cases involving related criminal proceedings. He regularly acts in matters involving businesses, trusts, rural properties, defined benefit superannuation interests and substantial asset pools.

Holding a degree in Accounting, Tassi is an expert in analysing business structures, understanding financial records and transactions, and dealing with valuation disputes.

Clients value Tassi’s direct approach. He is known for getting across the detail quickly, cutting through unnecessary noise and focusing on the issues that matter.

Tassi was recognised as a Rising Star in Family Law by Doyle’s Guide in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Real Person

Tassi is a country boy at heart. Raised in Crookwell, New South Wales, or as he still prefers to call it, “God’s country”, he values hard work and straight talking.

Outside the office, he is a passionate Sydney Roosters supporter, a fan of country music and a lifelong sports enthusiast. Cricket and rugby once occupied most of his weekends. These days, much of his spare time is spent with his young family.

If you meet him, there is a good chance the conversation will eventually turn to his baby daughter, the Roosters or why Crookwell is the best town in New South Wales.
