Jessica is a family law superstar and human overachiever, with an impressive range of experience in the family law arena, and a particular focus on championing the rights of those who need it most.
Although Jessica has a PhD in Law, there is no need to call her “Doc”, she is down-to-earth and advocates for her family law clients with genuine care and expertise. Jessica enjoys providing personalised and effective representation for her clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected during the sometimes-challenging family law process. Jessica’s Thesis focused on legislation aimed at safeguarding victims of violent crimes in Court proceedings in the ACT, and this is a particular area of interest for her.
Well-respected in the industry by both colleagues and peers, Jessica enjoys a diverse and thriving practice and has earned herself a reputation as an absolute “powerhouse” in the courtroom.
Did we mention that Jessica is the recipient of the ACT 2014 Young Lawyer of the Year Award? This accolade attests to Jessica’s exceptional professional achievements and extensive community involvement, and naturally this award went “straight to the pool room”.
Jessica’s family and friends would describe her as the female equivalent of a “gym bro”, with her frequenting the local gym after work and pumping weights with the same drive and focus that she provides to her family law practice. Adding onto this healthy lifestyle, Jessica also enjoys sharpening her snowboarding skills on the slopes during snow season.
