Renee joined us in 2020 to pursue her passion for family law, upon completion of a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law). Since, Renee has quickly become a crucial member of our team, with ample experience in complex property, parenting and family violence matters. Her headstrong, pragmatic approach is well received by all and ensures that her advice is strategic and outcome-oriented.

Having previously worked as a volunteer solicitor at the Women’s Legal Centre, Renee appreciates the need to provide empathetic yet strong representation particularly to clients in vulnerable situations. She is a skilled negotiator and thinks creatively to avoid clients becoming bogged down in litigation unnecessarily but when needed, is a responsive and detail-oriented advocate in court.

Born and raised in Canberra, Renee is as local as they come.

When she’s not in the office, Renee captains her soccer team and is just as fierce on the field as she is in the court room. She is also a star player in the FGD Netball team.

On weekends you’ll find her doing walks up Mt Ainslie or coffee catch-ups at the lake. In the holiday periods, you can find Renee exploring the beaches on the south coast and spending time with her close friends and big Italian family.
