Ying recently joined the firm and is part of our specialised estates team, she brings prior experience in private practice in the areas of commercial law, estate planning and administration.
In joining the team here at FGD, she has taken the move to specialise in her true passion – assisting individuals and families with their strategic end of life plans and assisting executors (who are often close friends or family members of deceased loved ones) in navigating the complexities of estate administration efficiently in times when grief and emotions run high.
She approaches her work every day with empathy and a smile and above all an aim to achieving a positive outcome for her clients.
Ying is also a volunteer with the Domestic Violence Crisis Centre.
Ying loves to bake and spends her time (a bit too much of it admittedly) watching youtube videos on new recipes and baking techniques, she has also played the piano for most of her life, and loves to knit and crochet. Ying is also a mum to two kiddies, who both insist that their mum is adult (only 5” tall!). Having spent half her life in Malaysia, she speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
Fun fact – Ying was once the voice cast for educational children’s audiobooks and a KFC ad.
