Jalene has practiced exclusively in the family and criminal law jurisdiction since admission and joined FGD to specialise in family law.

Jalene is empathetic and enjoys interacting with clients to help them get through a difficult time in their lives. She understands how frustrating the legal system may be and strives to make the process as easy and accessible for clients as possible.

Jalene loves negotiating on behalf of clients to achieve positive outcomes outside of the Court system. She aims to attain affordable and positive outcomes for clients.

Jalene is passionate about taking on new challenges and is keen on expanding her knowledge in the areas of adoption, cryptocurrency and family law, and same-sex relationships.

Jalene was born in Singapore and came to Australia when she was 17. She fell in love with the quiet charm of Canberra and has not looked back since.

Jalene’s favourite spot at home is curled up in her armchair, doing sudokus while binge watching Netflix and Disney Plus. She also enjoys going on foodie dates in Canberra and its surrounds with her partner.
