Marc assists clients with matters dealing with divorce, property division and parenting disputes arising from the breakdown of marital and de facto relationships. Marc has significant experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, high net worth and complex property and financial matters, parenting matters, spouse maintenance applications and child support issues. Marc also assists clients with criminal and ADVO matters arising from domestic violence related offences and other summary criminal offences.
Since his admission to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2010, Marc has practiced almost exclusively in family law and criminal law, making regularly appearances in the Family Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales.
Marc applies his extensive knowledge and experience to assist his clients reach practical solutions without the need for litigation. When a satisfactory settlement cannot be reached through alternate dispute resolution, Marc is a passionate and skilled litigator, often appearing as advocate directly for his clients.
Marc obtained his Specialist Accreditation in Family Law from the New South Wales Law Society in 2018.
Marc is also an NMAS accredited mediator, allowing Marc to apply his knowledge and experience in family law to independently assist parties to resolve parenting, property, maintenance, child support and other issues arising from separation and divorce.
Marc is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
Marc was born and raised in Wagga Wagga before relocating to Sydney to pursue his legal career. Marc is an avid sports fan, closely following the AFL, the NRL, Cricket and Rugby Union. When not working or watching sports, Marc divides his time between exploring Sydney’s restaurants, escaping the city life for a weekend back in the country or doting on his niece Edie, who has her favourite uncle wrapped around her little finger.
