On Thursday 14 November, FGD held our annual charity golf day in support of Fearless Women at the Federal Golf Club in Canberra.
Whilst the weather apps predicted rain & thunderstorms, Canberra turned on the most specular sunny day for the event.
We are thrilled to announce that we raised a record breaking $26,000+ which will contribute to the amazing work Fearless Women do helping girls and young women live their lives fearlessly.
For the first time, we introduced a High Tea experience for non-golfers which was a resounding success and enjoyed by all who attended! A huge thank you to the Canberra Distillery and Fudgemental for making our inaugural High Tea a truly memorable afternoon.
As always, we couldn’t let our golfers get away without having the chance to “beat dunny” or swap their golf club to their non dominant hand or even try throwing the golf ball instead of hitting it with their club, which even our most serious golfers enjoy by digging deep to donate to Fearless Women should they choose not to participate in the game.
